Trusted Contacts – Released 6/26/2020
We've released a new feature that allows you to manage your organization's Trusted Contacts right in Namely. Give employees the ability to submit service cases, use the Help Community, and receive communications.
At Namely, the security of your company’s data and operations information is paramount. When someone from your organization reaches out to the Namely for help, it’s important for us to know they are an individual who has been authorized to discuss what could potentially be sensitive information.
Additionally, when Namely reaches out to you with information on upcoming releases, scheduled maintenance, or other important communications, we want to make sure the info is getting to relevant contacts at your organization. Someone who works primarily in Human Resources, for example, may not need to know about a new payroll update.
Until now, there’s been no easy way to manage contact information for members of your team in Namely. That’s changing with Trusted Contacts.

Manage Trusted Contacts
Our new Trusted Contacts feature allows you to add up to 10 individuals at your organization who are authorized to discuss Service cases, access the Help Community, and receive communications about specific product features.
Accessing Trusted Contacts
Any user with the Administrator role in Namely can access Trusted Contacts by going to Company > Settings > Trusted Contacts.
To add a Trusted Contact:
-
Click Add Contact.
-
Select the Employee you would like to add as a Trusted Contact.
-
Select a Contact Role for the user. You can select more than one.

This will determine what type of communications the contact will receive from Namely.
-
-
Click Add Contact.
If you need to edit or remove any Trusted Contacts, click the menu icon next to the contact’s name. You can then change the contact role for that user or remove them as a Trusted Contact.
